Abstract :  The acoustic performance of Recycled Aggregate  Foamed Concrete  ( RAFC)  was  investigated by modifying  its pore structure through mix proportion designs to clarify the influence of pore characteristics.   Image  analysis  and SEM scanning were employed to analyze the effects of density and polypropylene fibers on the micro-structural pores of RAFC.   The sound absorption coefficient and sound transmission loss in the 160- 1 600 Hz frequency range were measured using the impedance tube method , and the relationship between the pore structure and acoustic performance was explored.   The results show that : The pore structure is jointly  controlled  by  foam  and fiber content.    As  the density decreases ,  the proportion of  large and interconnected pores increases , while a small amount of fiber can inhibit bubble coalescence and interconnection , thereby increasing the closed-pore ratio.   An appropriate  porosity  and  interconnected  pore  ratio enhance the  sound  absorption coefficient of RAFC , among which pores larger  than  600  μm  contribute to better low - frequency sound absorption.    The  sound  transmission loss improves with
